Triggertrap is an innovative application designed to extend the functionalities of your camera through creative triggering methods. This versatile tool serves the purpose of providing photographers with an array of options for taking precisely timed and well-exposed shots using their Android device. To make use of its features, users need to purchase a Mobile Dongle separately to establish a connection with the camera, ensuring broad compatibility with over 300 camera models.

The app includes a fully customizable sound sensor to trigger the camera, allowing for unique capture opportunities in response to specific audio cues, such as claps, whistles, or taps, adding an exciting, hands-free element.

Timelapse photography is taken to new heights with several modes provided by this tool, including standard Timelapse, TimeWarp with its accelerating frames, DistanceLapse for journeys requiring GPS support, and Bramping to maintain consistent exposure during bulb ramping timelapses. Moreover, Star trail mode allows for the creation of stunning night sky images.

The high dynamic range (HDR) capabilities are particularly impressive, with Long Exposure HDR (LE HDR) mode that supports shutter speeds from several hours to as quick as 1/20th second.
